The main lodge is the heart of the Butternut Lake Lodge facility. Originally
constructed in the 1940's, the building has been modernized and delightfully
decorated while still maintaining the warmth and charm of the original
structure. The lodge sleeps up to eight people in three bedrooms.
Theme suites including the Pioneer, Hunter, Banker and Bordello feature king size beds and queen size sofa sleepers for up to four individuals per suite. All suites include a kitchen area complete with sink, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator.
At over three and a half miles long and over 1000 acres, Butternut Lake is a Class A muskie fishing lake with plentiful pan fish and walleye populations. Watercraft including fishing boat, motor, canoe and three sit-on kayaks are available for rent.
